Chapter Heading (Poem by Ernest Hemingway)

Old Poem

Chapter Heading
By Ernest Hemingway

    And gone the shorter way.
And we have danced to devils’ tunes,
    Shivering home to pray;
To serve one master in the night,
    Another in the day.
